PRODUCTION OPERATOR -ALL SHIFTS
Description
SUMMARY OF FUNCTION:
The production of high-quality plastic injected parts and related assembly operations.Performs all tasks required from the point that the product is molded to the point that it is sent to shipping. Follows the quality procedures and maintains a safe and clean work environment.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Arrive at your assigned workstation 5 minutes before the start time to receive shift handover.
- Promote a safe and clean working environment by following established company policies and procedures.
- Be able to follow procedures as noted in the standard operating procedures.
- Be able to adhere to GDP (good documentation process).
- Following strict processes in the assembly of components to make a completed product.
- Seamless bonding and assembly of parts.
- Intense need for visual inspection due to the client's high aesthetic requirements.
- Accurately operate the weight scale.
- Perform advanced part inspections by following quality guidelines.
- Enter all scraped parts on the Scrap Log Sheet and retain the parts for verification by the quality dept.
- Ensure all boxes, bags or bins contain an Inspection Report and Work Order.
- Understand the importance of the job, and of the consequences for the product if procedures are not followed.
- Participate in all training sessions and meetings as required.
- Additional duties as assigned.
EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
High school diploma or related work experience.
Or equivalent experience as judged by the hiring manager to their satisfaction.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of 3-5years’ experience in production and high precision assembly environments.
Basic CNC machining.
Able to work with minimal supervision.
Proven ability to follow instructions.
Excellent time management.
