The Many Faces of PreciKam

Our team is a team built upon mutual respect and made up of a highly skilled group of people who understand the value of teamwork. We are proud that our team originates from 21 countries, speaks 19 languages and represents every major religious tradition, colour, and race. We respect everyone’s culture and celebrate together. We embrace differences in ability, sexual orientation, gender identity, language, race, ethnicity and socio-economic background. To be blunt we do not care about identities in our hiring or promotion process, if you are the right person for the job, you get the offer.

Our diversity is represented at all levels of the company with four of seven executives being new Canadians representing 4 continents. Most of our managers, front line supervisors and frontline team members are new Canadians from every continent except Antarctica.

However, diversity of thought, experience and education is what PreciKam values most. If you are the best person for the job based on merit – you get it.

We strive to be open, tolerant and understanding of each other, and have a No Consequences Policy that allows for people to be honest about their work, make mistakes and make suggestions. We all learn from each other and encourage everyone to contribute and be part of the solution. We have a full range of age groupings in every department providing us long term stability and institutional memory.

We have a lot of fun as a team and with our families. We have an annual family day with food, inflatable games, activities and lots of laughs and we bring in food and pizza frequently. If there is a festival or celebration involving food (Christmas, Eid-al-Fitr, Diwali, Pi Day, etc.) we generally are celebrating.
